• Amaia Echeverría, director of Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa, takes on the new vice-presidency for the province of Alicante.
  • The renewal of the Board, approved unanimously by the Assembly, marks the start of a new stage in a key year for the association, which will celebrate its 12th anniversary in 2026.

Valencia Premium has renewed its Board of Directors, strengthening its organisational structure with the creation of a specific vice-presidency for the province of Alicante. This new position will be held by Amaia Echeverría, director of Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa, one of the leading luxury hotels in the Region of Valencia.

This vice-presidency for Alicante joins the existing vice-presidency for Valencia and Castellón, held by José Ferri (Valencia DMC). The association thus strengthens a more balanced territorial representation, in keeping with the diversity of the premium offer of the Region of Valencia.

In this new stage, Carlos Boga, director of SH Valencia Palace, renews his position as president of the association, giving continuity to the work carried out in recent years at the head of the project.

The renewal of the Board was approved unanimously at the association’s last General Assembly, held at La Cartuja de Ara Christi. At the same session, the strategic lines for 2026 were defined, focusing on priority international markets and the global projection of the Region of Valencia in luxury tourism. The Board is also made up of:

  • José Ferri, of Valencia DMC, as vice-president for the provinces of Valencia and Castellón.
  • Guillermo López, of Euroairlines, as secretary of the association.
  • Fernando Aliño, of Masía Aldamar – Grupo El Alto, as treasurer.
  • Sonia Úbeda, director of Hotel Las Arenas, as board member for Hotels.
  • Raquel Vicente, of La Cartuja de Ara Christi – Gourmet Catering & Eventos, as board member for Unique Venues.
  • Luis González, communications director of Ricard Camarena Restaurante, as board member for Gastronomy.
  • Rafa Martínez, director of La Galiana Golf Resort, as board member for Golf Courses.

With this renewal, Valencia Premium continues to consolidate its organisational structure in a particularly significant year for the association, in which it will celebrate its 12th anniversary. Made up of companies from sub-sectors such as hotels, gastronomy, golf courses, agencies, transport and unique venues, the association maintains its vocation to represent, from a regional perspective, the quality tourism ecosystem of the Region of Valencia.

The association has the support of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, within the framework of collaboration between both organisations to boost the international projection of quality tourism in the Region of Valencia.
