London, 11 November 2025.
Ricard Camarena Restaurant remains an international gastronomic benchmark, holding sixth place among the world’s best vegetable-focused restaurants, as announced on Tuesday by the editors of the prestigious We’re Smart Green Guide ranking at a gala held in London.
The Valencian chef’s restaurant holds an impressive sixth place as the world’s best vegetable restaurant for the second year running. This international award underpins Ricard Camarena’s green approach while recognising his creative and sustainable work with vegetables in fine dining and with Valencian produce.
The chef thanked the guide’s creator, Frank Fol, “for making it possible, for believing in gastronomy from such a sustainable and respectful point of view.” In a video, he also congratulated “everyone who has received awards, because you are role models for us.” Below we share the list of all the winners.
DELVING DEEPER INTO THE PLANT WORLD
Over the past year, Ricard has delved even deeper into the plant world and keeps a fully vegetarian menu, which can even be made vegan. He has also continued developing the LETERN Sin Desperdicio brand, aiming to reduce food waste to practically zero by making the most of products at every stage. He also offers an alcohol-free, plant-based pairing.
Ricard Camarena Restaurant has shown constant progress since entering the Top 10 in 2021, and has now spent five years among the best vegetable-focused restaurants in the world.
The We’re Smart Green Guide is the world’s most prestigious guide dedicated to vegetable cuisine. It recognises restaurants that stand out for innovation, sustainability and the creative use of vegetables in their gastronomic offer.
