Phylloxera reached our region, La Marina Alta (Alicante, Spain), in 1910, transforming the landscape and wiping out the vines our ancestors had tended. This land captivated the Iberians, the Romans, pirates, Alexandre Dumas and the botanist Cavanilles… there must be something special about it, don’t you think?
