The movement of Valencian high gastronomy returns next May 16th to 26th with experiences you will only enjoy once in your life.

May 16th to 26th 2024 Few things last as long as good moments. No doubt one of them is Valencia Culinary Festival which will start its seventh edition next May 16th.

The Valencian Community, thanks to its rich melting of tradition and culinary vanguard, is highlighted as a top rated gastronomic destination and recognized worldwide through its Michelin Stars and Repsol Suns. The region is home to 25 restaurants with Michelin Stars et 60 with Repsol Suns, led by cooks that supply creativity and excellence to a constantly evolving gastronomic movement.

The Valencia Culinary Festival highlights Valencia as a top national gastronomic destination, thanks to a wide variety of gastronomic experiences specially designed for the most demanding palates as well for those who wish to start in high gastronomy. During 10 days, more than 30 custom made activities will take place, with limited capacity and wide menus with international chefs, dialogues between the orchard and the kitchen, tastings with a relevant biodiversity and a worldwide unique historical heritage. All of them transcend the restaurants and take us to explore unique environments that underline Valencia as a “must be” this spring.

The Valencian orchard is probably, the most valued and recognizable asset. Therefore, the kitchens are submitted to a constant dialog to interpret it their own way and the Valencia Culinary Festival witnesses that dialog. One of the festival exciting experiences is visiting the orchard with the chef Ricard Camarena, prized with 2 Michelin Stars and 1 Green Michelin Star.

This year the Valencia Culinary Festival is aligned with 2024 European Green Capital, promoting sustainability and regional gastronomic singularity. The most prestigious restaurants and chefs have created for this edition a unique program that highlights the local gastronomic culture, aligned with the values of sustainability that are key to the region.

Sorolla in its purest essence

One example of gastronomic excellence within Valencia Culinary Festival can be found in the menu “Homage to Sorolla” by Chef Jorge de Andrés, 2022 National Award of Gastronomic Culture. This seventh edition is renewed, adapting to a new space symbol of Valencia such as Veles e Vent, work of the famous architect David Chipperfield, Pritzker awarded, with a 7 meter screen where the paintings of the universal and famous painter will be projected, after more than five years of thorough investigation.

When? From May 16 to 26, 2024.
