CaixaBank has presented SH Hoteles with the ‘CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism Award’ in the Region of Valencia. In their seventh edition, the ‘CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism Awards’ recognise tourism establishments that stand out for their work in training, providing learning spaces and valuable opportunities for young people, and collaborating with the vocational training centres where these future professionals are trained.

SH Hoteles has received this recognition from CaixaBank for its commitment to vocational training to help young people access the labour market, giving them the opportunity to receive specialised training.

CaixaBank’s regional director for the Region of Valencia and Murcia explained that this edition of the ‘Hotels & Tourism Awards’ aims to “pay tribute to and recognise those who dedicate resources to ensuring a solid future for the sector. Making the experience and time of veteran professionals available to young people who are starting out ensures the quality of our establishments tomorrow and is an exercise in generosity of great value. We are very proud to recognise the efforts of these companies.”

Javier Vallés, general manager of SH Hoteles, said: “We are proud to receive this recognition from CaixaBank, which reflects our shared commitment to vocational training. Thanks to our collaboration with CaixaBank Dualiza, we have been able to train a new generation of qualified professionals in the sector, committed to the corporate social responsibility we pursue. This award encourages us to keep working together for a more committed future with greater opportunities for people at risk of exclusion, improving their quality of life.”

This award has been designed together with CaixaBank Dualiza, which promotes Vocational Training in Spain. Part of that work consists of acting as a bridge between educational institutions and companies, helping the latter in the training of young students, in accordance with the new vocational training law, so that their subsequent incorporation into the company is immediate.

On 22 January, CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism will bring together all the winners of this edition at an event on the bank’s stand at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid.
